Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking a Process Engineer to join our R&D initiatives in Poland. You will participate in projects from concept to serial production launch, verify technical assumptions, and collaborate with Development, Injection Molding and Production teams across all phases.

The role requires a technical university degree, strong cost calculation skills, and experience in change and industrialization projects, with English proficiency (German a plus).

Qualifications

• University degree in a technical field (e.g. Production Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar).
• Very good command of English (minimum B1); German language is an advantage.
• Ability to prepare production cost calculations and technical & quality specifications.
• Experience in change and industrialization projects.

Responsibilities

• Participate in R&D project teams from concept development to serial production launch.
• Verify and validate technical assumptions, designs, and manufacturability concepts.
• Perform investment and production cost calculations.
• Cooperate with Development, Injection Molding and Production teams across all project phases.
• Implement engineering and design changes during product development and industrialization.

Our requirements

• University degree in a technical field (e.g. Production Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar)
• Professional experience as a Process Engineer, Production Engineer, Technologist, or Design Engineer
• Practical knowledge of at least one manufacturing technology, such as injection molding, stamping, or assembly processes
• Nice to have: experience with additional technologies (e.g. soldering, pad printing, welding)
• Ability to prepare production cost calculations and technical & quality specifications
• Experience in change and industrialization projects
• Very good command of English (minimum B1); German language is an advantage
