Job summary

Iyuno seeks a Workday Implementation Lead to drive end-to-end deployment of Workday modules across a truly global, diverse organisation. The role requires standardised processes, harmonisation, and strong stakeholder management to maximise ROI and long-term scalability.

The successful candidate will own the full lifecycle from planning to adoption, with hands-on experience in core Workday modules (Absence, Time Tracking, Expenses) and in integrations, data migration, and tenant management.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Workday implementations in global organisations.
• Hands-on deployment in Workday modules, preferably Core HCM (Absence and Time Tracking) and Expenses.
• Understanding of Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, APIs).
• Experience managing tenant migration, cutover planning and environment strategy.

Job description

The Workday Implementation Lead is responsible for leading the end‑to‑end deployment of Workday modules across a truly global and operationally diverse organisation. This role requires experience implementing Workday in environments where processes require standardisation, and where strong harmonisation, global process alignment, and stakeholder management are essential.

This individual will own the full lifecycle of the outstanding Workday module implementation, planning, designing, configuration, testing, deployment, adoption, and technical management of the Workday tenants. Serving as the senior implementation authority, ensuring that Workday delivers a ROI to the organisation, whilst laying the foundation for long‑term scalability and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate brings hands‑on expertise in deploying core Workday modules, with a strong preference on the Expenses and Core HCM (including Absence and Time Tracking) modules. The Workday Implementation Lead will also have experience with technical Workday activities such as integrations, data migration, and tenant management.

• Own and lead the global implementation of the outstanding Workday modules Expenses and Core HCM (Absence & Time Tracking), across multiple regions.
• Develop and execute the global deployment roadmap, ensuring timely, high‑quality delivery across all phases of the programme.
• Oversee cross‑functional requirements gathering, solution design, configuration reviews, and UAT cycles.
• Drive the standardisation and harmonisation of HR, Finance and Operational processes across the organisation, addressing country‑specific requirements and regulations.

Technical Ownership

• Act as the technical lead for Workday, overseeing areas such as tenant migration, environment strategy, data loads, EIBs, integrations, and release management.
• Ensure integrations are designed, tested, and operationalised.
• Manage Workday’s technical ecosystem, including security, role‑based access, configuration governance, and performance monitoring.
• Work closely with internal technology teams and external Workday partners to ensure system scalability and long‑term technical stability.
• Guide the development of Workday reporting frameworks and support analytical capabilities for company‑wise decision‑making.
• Translate business requirements into scalable reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Evaluate new Workday functionality and releases to ensure continuous optimisation and value realisation.

Skills Required:

• Previous experience in leading Workday implementation in global organisations.
• Hands on deployment experience in Workday modules, preferably Core HCM (Absence and Time Tracking) and Expenses.
• Understanding of Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, API’s)
• Experience managing tenant migration, cutover planning and the overall environment strategy.
• Ability to assess and support in the standardisation of fragmented business processes.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
