Job summary

RED Global is seeking a skilled Windows Systems Engineer to manage and enhance enterprise Windows Server environments. The role focuses on OS hardening, patch management, and proactive health monitoring in a hybrid, international setting.

You will implement automation (PowerShell) to streamline workflows, participate in server migrations and DR planning, and work with vendors on lifecycle management. The position offers a stable contract and hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise Windows Server administration and patch management.
• Strong focus on OS hardening and security baseline compliance.
• Automation and scripting experience (PowerShell) to streamline admin tasks.
• Experience with troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of OS/infrastructure incidents.
• Ability to collaborate across teams in an international English-speaking environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and enhance enterprise Windows Server OS and core services.
• Monitor OS health, performance, capacity, and security metrics with proactive remediation.
• Install, configure, patch, and harden server environments per security policies.
• Lead troubleshooting and RCA for complex OS/infrastructure incidents.
• Oversee backup, DR, patching, and maintain up-to-date documentation.
• Provide hands-on expertise for server migrations and upgrades.
• Drive efficiency by automating tasks and modernizing deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with vendors on escalations and lifecycle management.
