Job summary

DCG Poland in Warszawa seeks a seasoned Windows Server engineer to redesign patch management with SCCM, automate infrastructure with PowerShell, and strengthen Windows baselines. You will work closely with the Platform Owner in a SAFe/Scrum setting and help scale the platform across on-prem and cloud environments.

The role requires 8+ years in Windows Server engineering, strong AD/GP/DNS/DHCP expertise, and solid English communication. Hybrid cloud knowledge with Azure and GCP is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional Windows Server administration and engineering.
• Strong expertise across Windows Server 2019/2022/2025, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Hands-on experience with SCCM, patch management, and configuration management.
• Experience with infrastructure automation, CI/CD, Git and Jira.
• Knowledge of hybrid on-premises and cloud environments (Azure and GCP).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; very good English.

Responsibilities

• Redesign and improve Windows patch management using SCCM.
• Design and implement infrastructure automation with PowerShell and CI/CD.
• Create and maintain Group Policies and Windows security baselines.
• Provide expertise across AD, networking, storage, and virtualization.
• Support deployment of new Windows OS images and migration to cloud.
• Collaborate with the Platform Owner and Scrum team in backlog refinement.
• Develop technical documentation for engineers and end users.
• Identify improvements to increase automation, stability, and security.
