Job summary

Vestas in Poland is seeking a Project Technician to help develop and implement technical solutions that improve safety, reliability, and efficiency across our service operations. You will support strategic projects, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, and contribute to operational excellence across the NCE region.

This full‑time role requires a technical/electrical background, 3–5 years of relevant experience, a B+E driving license, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Technical/electrical education or equivalent engineering/technical qualification.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar technical or project-related role, preferably within the wind energy industry.
• Valid B+E driving license and willingness to travel.
• Experience in Microsoft Office applications and technical reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Vestas turbine technologies, service processes, and technical documentation would be an advantage.
• Experience delivering technical training in classroom, workshop, or turbine environments.
• Basic project management knowledge with ability to coordinate activities across international teams.
• Strong safety mindset with a commitment to maintaining the highest HSE standards.
• Very good communication and stakeholder management skills in a multicultural environment.
• Very good written and spoken English skills.
• Self-driven and proactive approach with strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build collaborative relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of strategic projects focused on operational excellence, compliance, and cost reduction.
• Prepare and evaluate CIM cases, including technical feasibility assessments, tool and material availability, and implementation planning.
• Introduce, review, and support the deployment of new repair methods, tools, materials, and technologies.
• Plan, organize, and deliver technical training, practical workshops, and briefings for service teams across the region.
• Act as a technical focal point by facilitating problem-solving activities and escalating complex technical issues when required.
• Develop and maintain technical reports, performance metrics, and KPIs for management and key stakeholders.
• Participate in customer interactions and meetings, providing technical support and project updates when needed.
