Job summary

Vestas is actively seeking a Project Technician to support strategic service operations upgrades across the NCE region and beyond. You will assist with CIM cases, deploy new repair methods, and coordinate with international teams to improve safety, reliability, and efficiency.

The role involves delivering training, preparing technical reports, and acting as a technical focal point for project execution while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Technical education in engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a technical or project role, preferably wind energy.
• Valid B+E driving license and willingness to travel.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and technical reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Vestas turbine technologies and service processes.
• Experience delivering technical training in classroom, workshop, or turbine environments.
• Basic project management knowledge to coordinate activities across international teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of strategic projects focused on operational excellence, compliance, and cost reduction.
• Prepare and evaluate CIM cases, including technical feasibility assessments, tool and material availability, and implementation planning.
• Introduce, review, and support the deployment of new repair methods, tools, materials, and technologies.
• Plan, organize, and deliver technical training, practical workshops, and briefings for service teams across the region.
• Act as a technical focal point by facilitating problem-solving activities and escalating complex technical issues when required.
• Develop and maintain technical reports, performance metrics, and KPIs for management and key stakeholders.
• Participate in customer interactions and meetings, providing technical support and project updates when needed.
