Job summary

Aviva Services Excellence Centre in Warsaw is seeking a tester with a hybrid development and testing mindset. You will set up tools like Azure DevOps to enable test automation and integrate with downstream processes, develop and maintain test plans, and perform manual testing while seeking automation opportunities.

The role requires ~2 years in a similar role, strong C# skills, and experience with CI/CD and BDD frameworks. Hybrid work from Poland, with some office time in Warsaw.

Qualifications

• Around 2 years of commercial experience in a similar role.
• Hybrid skillset of software development and testing is mandatory.
• Strong C# programming language skills.
• Experience with manual testing.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Azure DevOps.
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber for Java, Reqnroll for C#, or Behave for Python.
• Experience with building a test automation solution from scratch is a big plus.
• Understanding databases, web services, APIs, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Automation mindset and continuous improvement.
• Interest in AI and machine learning.
• Self-sufficient and cross-skilled across technologies.

What we’re looking for?

Ideally:

• Around 2 years of commercial experience in a similar role

• Experience with performing manual tests
• Experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Azure DevOps
• Experience with using BDD frameworks frameworks such as Cucumber for Java, Reqnroll for C#, or Behave for Python
• Experience with building a test automation solution from scratch is a big plus
• Understanding and direct experience with databases, web services, APIs, and cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure
• The individual has an automation mindset, appetite for innovation, and continuous improvement
• Keen on latest technology such as AI and machine learning
• Self-sufficient and able to cross-skill to different technologies with ease
• ISTQB Fundamentals and Test Automation Engineer certifications are ideal but not mandatory
• AWS Cloud Practitioner and Azure Fundamentals certifications are ideal but not mandatory
