Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a Vice President for the Operational Risk Metrics Program to design, drive, and implement the firmwide operational risk metric program. You will define strategy for metrics, formalize policy requirements, and ensure effective implementation through processes and systems.

This role requires collaboration across cross-regional teams and senior stakeholders with strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Finance, CS, Statistics, Engineering).
• 5–10 years of experience in finance, risk management preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and drive the Operational Risk Metrics Framework to be fit for purpose and reported for risk decisions.
• Develop presentation materials for senior management and regulatory exams on metric proposals and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to onboard, refine, and automate Operational Risk Metrics.
