Job summary

Goldman Sachs seeks a Vice President for the Risk Testing Group (RTG) in Warsaw to lead risk data accuracy reviews and regulatory reporting oversight. You will engage with senior stakeholders, ensure data quality, and drive robust risk management practices across finance and controls.

Ideal candidates have banking experience, IFRS knowledge, and strong programming (C++, Python) skills, plus English proficiency at a high level. The role is based in Poland with global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant or Bachelors/Masters in Finance or equivalent (e.g., Corporate Finance).
• Knowledge of financial reporting, regulatory reporting, IFRS accounting standards, and the control environment in banking.
• Experience and knowledge of finance and accounting in a global banking institution.
• Understanding of financial risk management (credit, market, operational, liquidity) is an advantage.
• Minimum B2 level in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of firm's financial reporting, regulatory reporting, accounting policies, and risk management frameworks.
• Perform independent reviews of accounting treatments, financial statements, and regulatory reporting processes.
• Assess completeness and accuracy of data supporting risk data aggregation and regulatory reporting (BCBS 239).
• Evaluate design and effectiveness of key controls for financial and regulatory reporting processes.
• Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships; present results to senior management and regulators.
