Job summary

State Street Corporation seeks an AI Security Architect to design, implement, and review security controls for AI/ML and Generative AI across our technology stack. You will partner with engineering, product security, and platform teams to ensure secure, compliant AI capabilities.

This hands-on role requires solid foundations in application, cloud, or product security, threat modeling, risk management, and experience securing cloud-native applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in security or cloud certifications is a plus.
• 5–7 years in application, product, cloud security, or security engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure architecture patterns for AI/ML and Generative AI systems.
• Develop AI security standards, reference architectures, and guardrails.
• Participate in architecture reviews, providing security guidance.
• Ensure security requirements are considered early in solution design.
• Perform AI-focused threat modeling for AI services and data flows.
• Identify security risks such as data leakage and OSS vulnerabilities.
• Recommend mitigations and compensating controls with senior architects.
• Integrate AI security controls into DevSecOps workflows.
• Define security requirements and validation checks for AI pipelines.
• Create repeatable patterns to adopt AI securely with less friction.
