Job summary

State Street Corporation in Kraków is seeking a Vice President, Quality Assurance, Corporate Audit, to lead QA activities and strengthen audit quality across the organization. You will manage QAIP, align with IIA standards, and drive continuous improvement while engaging with senior stakeholders.

The role requires deep audit expertise, regulatory awareness including ECB expectations, and a track record of implementing QA enhancements in a global financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Internal Audit, Audit Quality Assurance, Risk Management, or related field.
• Experience in a global financial services organization and ECB regulatory familiarity.
• Strong understanding of IIA Global Internal Audit Standards and QA frameworks.
• Ability to design and deliver QA reviews, analytics, and training.

Responsibilities

• Execute QA reviews of Internal Audit engagements evaluating planning, execution, reporting, and adherence to methodology.
• Assess the quality and sufficiency of workpapers, conclusions, and evidence.
• Ensure compliance with IIA standards, corporate methodology, and regulatory expectations.
• Lead thematic and horizontal reviews to identify trends and best practices.
• Support QAIP enhancements and regulatory self-assessments.
• Provide governance reporting to local entities and challenge senior stakeholders on quality matters.
• Develop training and guidance based on review results and industry best practices.
