Job summary

State Street Bank International GmbH (SSBI) seeks a Business/Operational Auditor to join its Krakow/Gdansk team in Poland. You will assess control adequacy and effectiveness to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to corporate policies across global units.

The role requires 3+ years in Internal Audit/Compliance within financial services, strong analytical skills, and English fluency. Travel up to 15% may be required; permanent contract from day one, with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Law, IT.
• 3+ years of experience in Internal Audit, Compliance, Risk Management, or Financial Crime within the financial services industry.
• Knowledge of AML/CFT, sanctions, KYC/CDD, or transaction monitoring activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit work using the division’s methodology to identify risk and evaluate controls.
• Obtain and analyze evidentiary data to form objective opinions on controls.
• Review and appraise corrective actions to improve deficient conditions.
• Ensure audits comply with Corporate Audit Department and IIA standards; prepare work papers and use data analytics.
• Maintain current knowledge of audit practices and apply best practices.
