Job summary

ALTEN Poland is seeking an experienced engineer to industrialize and implement electronic products and solid-state lighting. You will commission SMT equipment for automated vision inspection and drive projects with Koh Young and Nikon systems.

You will collaborate with R&D and production teams to optimize processes, participate in supplier selection, and ensure compliance with ISO standards. Travel may be required during initial project phases.

Qualifications

• A technical college degree, at least a bachelor’s degree or an engineering degree; preferred fields of study: electronics, electrical engineering, physics, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields.
• Several years of experience in implementing or coordinating technical manufacturing projects.
• Advanced knowledge of automated vision inspection technology.
• Experience in implementing, commissioning, and optimizing SPI, AOI, and X-ray inspection systems.
• Familiarity with inspection systems using cameras, scanners, and lasers.
• Practical experience with Koh Young SPI/AOI equipment, the Nikon Geometric Tester, and Comet X-Ray systems will be a significant advantage.
• Ability to statistically evaluate test results and knowledge of MSA in accordance with VDA.
• Basic knowledge of electronics and SMT manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of DfX, DFMA, and PFMEA tools.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Industrialization and implementation of new electronic products and solid-state lighting solutions, with focus on hardware production and development.
• Commissioning new SMT equipment related to automated vision inspection.
• Implementing projects on Koh Young SPI, Koh Young AOI, Nikon Geometric Tester and Comet X-Ray equipment.
• Develop vision inspection processes, including camera systems, scanners, lasers, SPI, AOI, and X-Ray.
• Collaborating with the team responsible for product launch and ensuring work meets project schedule.
• Working with R&D to ensure product productivity and feasibility early in development.
• Supporting development of production and test concepts per process standards.
• Participating in equipment and supplier selection and in development of key manufacturing technologies.
• Analyzing inspection results, identifying improvements, and optimizing system parameters.
• Complying with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 standards.

Tasks:

• Industrialization and implementation of new electronic products and solid-state lighting solutions, with a particular focus on hardware production and development.

• Working closely with the R&D department to ensure product productivity and feasibility at an early stage of its development.
• Supporting the development of production and test concepts in accordance with process standards.
