Job summary

Boston Scientific in Warsaw is seeking a VAT Analyst to join the new EMEA VAT Compliance Centre of Excellence, ensuring timely VAT compliance across multiple countries and supporting the implementation and testing of SAP DRC, our future VAT compliance technology.

You will collaborate with internal teams, external advisors, and tax authorities, gaining hands-on experience with VAT reporting processes in an international and dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in taxation, accounting or finance.
• 1–3 years of VAT compliance experience in multinational or shared service settings.
• Knowledge of European VAT regulations and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review VAT returns, Intrastat reports, EC Sales Lists, and other indirect tax filings.
• Support VAT reconciliations, refund claims, and audits.
• Monitor regulatory changes and help improve compliance processes.
• Assist in automation and standardization of VAT reporting (SAP DRC & ERP systems).
• Act as a contact point for finance, AP/AR teams, and external advisors.
• Contribute to creating documentation, SOPs, and training for the new Centre of Excellence.
