SFORS is seeking a Research Analyst to join the Trading Research & Development team. The role covers research and quantitative processes, with duties including monitoring markets, tracking news, and turning data into concise analytics.

The candidate will compile insights into articles and dashboards, share knowledge across teams, and develop faster ways to extract significance from information. Fluency in English and Ukrainian is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in trading, macroeconomic analysis, or quantitative research.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, especially US equities.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and analysis.
• Experience with Bloomberg Terminal is a plus.
• English at least B2; Ukrainian fluency is required.

Responsabilités

• Monitor the market and track key news, earnings, macroeconomic and geopolitical events focusing on the US market.
• Separate signal from noise by evaluating events for market impact on companies, sectors and broader markets.
• Identify connections, patterns, sector rotations and market narratives.
• Be the market historian by documenting events and building a knowledge base.
• Turn information into clear analytics by structuring news and data into concise articles, charts and dashboards.
• Share knowledge by preparing internal market reviews and lectures for the team.
• Develop analytical processes by exploring new sources and formats to communicate important information faster.
