Job summary

Moon Active is a leading global mobile game company headquartered in Warsaw. We are seeking a Unity Developer to work on a large-scale, highly-optimized Unity codebase serving millions of concurrent players worldwide.

You will design architectures, implement end-to-end client-side features, and optimize performance across devices. The role requires 2+ years of software development experience, strong OOP skills, and proficiency in Unity and C# for mobile environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.

• Experience with Unity for mobile platforms and C# scripting.

• Native Ukrainian speaker.

As a Unity Developer you’ll be working on one of the mobile gaming industry’s most complex and successful products, a large-scale, highly-optimized Unity codebase that serves millions of concurrent users globally. This isn’t your typical mobile game project. It’s a sophisticated, ever-evolving system that demands exceptional architectural thinking, performance optimisation expertise, and the ability to maintain quality at scale.

Responsibilities

• Manage features from system design and data handling to production deployment.
• Design architectures and implement end-to-end client-side features, leveraging LLMs from day-to-day development processes up to system architecture.
• Use data-driven methods to resolve production issues and optimize performance across all devices.
• Manage the integration of native plugins and third-party services.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code, Cursor or similar.
• Experience with object-oriented programming, including design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
• Strong knowledge of an OOP language (C# or equivalent) and memory management.
• Proactive, self-driven, with strong communication skills.
• Experience with Unity on mobile platforms, including its scripting APIs, profiling tools, UI, and animations.
• Native Ukrainian speaker.
