Job summary

Ecorys Poland is seeking a highly motivated Senior Consultant or Lead Consultant with in-depth knowledge of Ukraine, its institutions and socio-economic context, combined with strong analytical, research, and proposal-writing skills.

We welcome candidates with public policy research experience, donor-funded projects, and recovery initiatives. The role can be full-time or part-time and may be based in Kyiv, Warsaw, or fully remote where applicable.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Ukraine, its institutions and governance
• Experience in policy research, socio-economic analysis, evaluations or assessments
• Experience preparing analytical reports, research studies or project proposals
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1/C2)
• Fluency in Ukrainian is essential

Responsibilities

• Prepare project proposals, technical offers and methodological approaches for international donors and clients
• Conduct policy, socio-economic and sectoral research related to Ukraine and its recovery
• Analyse public policies, reforms, stakeholder landscapes, and institutions in Ukraine
• Design and implement qualitative and quantitative research activities (interviews, surveys, focus groups)
• Develop high-quality analytical reports, policy papers and recommendations in English
• Support business development and acquisition activities related to Ukraine and other international projects
• Build and maintain relationships with Ukrainian stakeholders and partners
• Coordinate project teams and ensure high-quality project delivery depending on seniority
