Job summary

Strada is seeking a UK Payroll Delivery Specialist to manage end-to-end UK payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will work with BI tools, HRIS systems, and payroll calendars while handling confidential information and supporting client requirements.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of payroll administration experience in HR consulting, outsourcing, or corporate environments.
• HRIS knowledge: Workday, SAP, or PeopleSoft preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Flexibility to support a global and fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Self-motivated and willing to learn.
• Ability to collaborate and work in a team or independently while adhering to processes.

Responsibilities

• Independently process UK payroll from end to end according to defined standards and client requirements.
• Monitor and manage ticket queues using BI tools to ensure tickets meet timelines and thresholds.
• Utilize the HRX suite of payroll tools for processing and related activities.
• Understand and interpret payslips and payroll calendars.
• Identify deviations from the standard scope and support change requests.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
• Produce and review standard and client-specific payroll reports including year-end reporting.
• Review and validate data for accuracy and completeness and initiate corrections.
• Answer payroll-related questions and requests.
• Support and execute SOC1 controls.
• Maintain and apply defined DWIs.
• Perform transactions with third parties.
• Provide knowledge transfer to peers.
• Support Root Cause Analysis and system maintenance testing.

UK Payroll Delivery Specialist

Key responsibilities:

• Independently process UK payroll from end to endaccordingthe defined standards and client requirementsincludingall associated payroll tasks
• Monitor and manage ticketqueuesusing theappropriate BItools toensuretickets are handledperthe defined timelines and do not exceed expected thresholds
• Ability toutilizethehrXsuite of tools asitrelates to payroll processing and all associated activities
• Be able to understand and interpret apayslip
• Be able to understand and follow the payroll calendar
• Identifydeviations from the standard scope of service and act accordinglyincluding the identification and support of change request opportunities
• Ability to recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information
• Produce and understand standardand client specific payroll reportsincluding statutory year end reporting needs
• Review andvalidatedata for accuracyandcompletenessand initiates corrections per the defined standards
• Answerpayrollrelatedquestions and requests
• Support and execute SOC1 Controls
• Maintainandapplydefined work instructions (DWIs)
• Perform Transactions with Third parties
• Provide clear knowledge transfersto peers
• Support the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process
• Support and manage system maintenance testing
• Support technical issue coordination and resolution
• Maintains current knowledge of legislationrequirements;system updates,changesand overall payroll procedures
• Participates in projectsand activitiesas needed and assigned

Required Experience

• 2-3 years relevant experience administering Payroll or Health & Welfare/Benefits in an HR consulting, HR Outsourcing or Corporate environment.
• HRIS knowledge: Workday, SAP, or PeopleSoft knowledge preferred
• Strong knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Flexibility to support a global and fast paced environment
• Attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Self-motivated and a willingness to learn
• Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment, as well as independently while adhering to processes and procedures
