Job Description:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our team. In this role, you will design educational materials that enhance learning experiences for students. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user experience principles and a passion for creating intuitive, visually appealing digital products. You will collaborate with project managers, developers, and content creators to produce visually engaging and interactive educational tools.

This role will be fully remote, as our headquarters are located in Rockville, Maryland, USA.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create graphics, illustrations, and visual elements for experiences that align with educational objectives.
2. Work closely with curriculum and content teams to ensure design elements support educational goals.
3. Ensure a consistent visual style that is age-appropriate and accessible to diverse audiences.
4. Collaborate with the team to brainstorm creative ideas and solutions for presenting content in innovative ways.
5. Create engaging animations and motion graphics to enhance student learning and understanding.
6. Stay up-to-date with design trends, animation techniques, and educational tools to continuously improve content quality.

Qualifications:

1. 3-5 years of proven experience in graphic and UI/UX design.
2. Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Illustrator; experience with animation tools like After Effects, Blender, or similar.
3. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design and animation work.
4. Understanding of visual storytelling, typography, and layout principles.
5. Knowledge of user-centered design principles and how students of different age groups engage with content.
6. Communicate effectively in English with team members.
7. Collaborative attitude with a willingness to accept feedback and adapt designs accordingly.
