The role connects business needs with engineering execution to ensure UAV platforms are coherent, scalable, and ready for integration and manufacturing. You will align teams and document trade-offs for performance and cost.

Qualifications

• Experience in UAV or complex hardware system architecture.
• Strong understanding of aerodynamics, mechanics, structural design, avionics, propulsion, power systems.

Responsibilities

• Define UAV system architecture based on business and technical requirements.
• Translate high-level requirements into subsystem specifications.
• Design interfaces between subsystems (mechanical, electrical, software, communication).
• Support prototype integration and resolve system-level blockers.
• Document trade-offs between performance, cost, weight, and manufacturability.
