Job summary

Siemens Gamesa is seeking an experienced Troubleshooter to lead offshore wind turbine service teams operating in Ustka and Łeba, Poland. You will oversee service, maintenance, repair, and fault-finding activities across offshore farms, driving turbine availability and MTBV while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will mentor technicians, work with customers and contractors, and ensure regulatory compliance, documentation, and risk management in a demanding offshore environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior/Advanced Technician on the D7 platform or similar.
• Proven leadership and team development skills; experience working with customers and contractors.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation; experience writing and reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Proficient with MS Office, MORS, and remote diagnostic tools; able to work offshore.
• Fluent in Polish and English; willing to helicopter transfers for crew changes.

• Lead technician and troubleshooting teams to deliver scheduled and unscheduled maintenance safely, efficiently, and in line with quality, time, and cost targets.
• Drive a strong safety culture by promoting active safety leadership, reporting incidents and near misses, and ensuring compliance with EHS, quality, and site requirements.
• Collaborate with technicians, customers, and contractors to resolve technical issues, optimize turbine performance, and improve reliability across the wind farm.
• Develop team capability by mentoring technicians, providing on-site supervision, and delivering technical and safety Toolbox Talks.
• Maintain accurate documentation, support Risk Assessments and Method Statements, and ensure all work meets customer, contractual, and regulatory requirements.

What You Bring

• You have experience working as a Senior or Advanced Technician on the D7 platform or comparable platforms, with a strong ambition to further develop your expertise within the D7 platform.
• You have proven leadership, decision-making, and team development skills, along with experience working closely with customers and contractors.
• You have practical knowledge of health and safety legislation and experience writing and reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• You are proficient with MS Office, MORS, and remote diagnostic tools, and you can perform effectively in a fast-paced offshore environment.
• You are fluent in Polish and English and are willing and able to work offshore, including transfers by helicopter for crew changes and troubleshooting activities.
