HEINEKEN Kraków is seeking a Transportation Planner to coordinate daily transport activities, engage carriers, and ensure timely deliveries across the supply chain. You will work with internal teams and external partners to optimize routes and improve service levels.

Requirements include 1 year in logistics or transport, a bachelor's degree in management or related field, proficiency with OTM, and strong English and Spanish language skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in transportation/logistics operations.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent in related field.
• Strong knowledge of OTM.
• Understanding of transportation rules and policies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate transportation planning with carriers and internal teams.
• Execute daily transportation loads booking and execution.
• Monitor carriers and manage in-transit status and exceptions.
• Consolidate loads, optimize routes and perform mode shifts.
• Communicate changes in deliveries to customer sites.
• Identify process improvements in transport planning.
• Develop and maintain client and carrier relationships.
• Advise on lane exclusions and new scenarios.

Your responsibilities would include:

• acting decisively and engaging effectively with key stakeholders
• partnering effectively with external customers and internal supply chain organization, customer service and supply planning organization with focus on increased value and benefit realization
• contacting carriers daily, specifically around issues and exception management
• communicating with customer sites about changes in deliveries (two-ways)
• assisting the OpCo customer services with special requests for time definite deliveries and/or shipment-based transport selections
• taking ownership of daily execution of transportation planning activities including load consolidation, mode shift, and optimization of transportation routes
• managing any unrouteable issue during the optimization process within the timelines expected
• managing booking and execution of transportation loads
• monitoring status updates from carriers (in-transit, appointment, delivered etc.) and proactively communicating and resolvingtransportation exceptions
• continuously seeking out opportunities to improve current processes
• proactively advising about improvements on transport planning scope, i.e. exclusion of lanes, simulation of new scenarios.

You are a good candidate if you have:

• Spanish on at least C1 level
• English on at least B2 level
• at least 1 year of experience in a similar role or within transportation/logistics operations
• bachelor Degree or equivalent, preferably in Management, Business, Logistics, or related field
• good understanding/experience with OTM (Oracle Transportation Management tool)
• understanding of transportation rules, regulations, standard processes and business policies
• ability to develop and manage client and carrier relationships
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• ability to manage and meet deadlines and multi-task daily activities
• professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• proficiency with Microsoft Office.
