Job summary

HEINEKEN Kraków (HEINEKEN Global Shared Services) seeks a Transportation Planner to coordinate loads, optimize routes and act as the main contact with carriers to ensure on-time deliveries.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, fluency in English and Polish, solid knowledge of OTM, and the ability to manage client and carrier relationships while using Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Act decisively and engage effectively with key stakeholders.
• Partner with external customers and internal supply chain teams to maximize value.
• Primary day-to-day contact with carriers for issues and exceptions.
• Communicate delivery changes to customer sites.
• Assist with time-definite deliveries and shipment-based transport selections.
• Daily execution of transportation planning: load consolidation, mode shifts, route optimization.
• Manage unrouteable issues within timelines.
• Manage booking and execution of transportation loads.
• Monitor carrier status updates and resolve transport exceptions.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes.
• Provide proactive advice on scope improvements and new scenarios.

Your responsibilities would include:

• acting decisively and engagingeffectively with key stakeholders
• partnering effectively with external customers and internal supply chain organization, customer service and supply planning organization with focus on increased value and benefit realization
• primary day-to-day contact with carriers, specifically around issues and exception management
• communicating with customer sites about changes in deliveries (two-ways)
• assisting the OpCo customer services with special requests for time definite deliveries and/or shipment-based transport selections
• daily execution of transportation planning activities including load consolidation, mode shift, and optimization of transportation routes
• managingany unrouteable issue during the optimization process within the timelines expected
• managingbooking and execution of transportation loads
• monitoring status updates from carriers (in-transit, appointment, delivered etc.) and proactively communicatingand resolvingtransportation exceptions
• continuously seeking out opportunities to improve current processes
• proactive advice about improvements on transport planning scope, i.e. exclusion of lanes, simulation of new scenarios

You are a good match if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Management, Business, Logistics, or related field
• language skills: English and Polish
• good understanding/experience with OTM
• understanding of transportation rules, regulations, standard processes and business policies
• ability to develop and manage client and carrier relationships
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• ability to manage and meet deadlines and multi-task daily activities

Nice to have:

• experience working for a multinational organization and working with colleagues internationally
• proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
