Job summary

Magna Cosma International in Poland seeks a tooling engineer for High Pressure Die Casting. You will design and optimize die cast tooling, runner systems, cooling and vacuum solutions, and support global casting operations.

You will apply DFM/DFMEA, analyze tooling performance, collaborate with casting divisions, and contribute to cost reduction and productivity. Strong CAD skills and English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Several years’ aluminum casting experience, including HPDC.
• Strong die cast tooling design knowledge and processes.
• Experience with die design, runner systems, cooling, and vacuum tech.
• Proficient in 2D/3D CAD (AutoCAD, NX, Spinfire) and English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize die cast tooling and runner systems.
• Develop tooling improvements to enhance performance.
• Design cooling and vacuum solutions for cycle time and stability.
• Support global casting ops by optimizing tooling and materials.
• Develop and maintain global tooling standards.
• Analyze tooling thermal and dimensional performance; implement fixes.
• Collaborate with casting divisions to relate simulations to trials.
• Apply DFM and participate in new product/process initiatives.
