Job summary

Aon’s Wealth Solutions team in Kraków seeks an Operations and Governance Manager to strengthen governance, risk management, and continuous improvement across the business. The role blends operational excellence with regulatory oversight and change initiatives to deliver robust outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Operations Management, preferably within financial services or regulated environments.
• Experience producing management information, KPIs and senior-level reporting.
• Experience collaborating with business leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of operational risk management, governance frameworks, controls and incident management.
• Experience supporting or coordinating operational, regulatory, process improvement, or technology initiatives.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• English proficiency at C1 level (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Partner Wealth Solutions leadership to deliver business objectives and improve operational effectiveness.
• Support governance and activities related to managing risks, including business continuity, disaster recovery, supplier oversight, incident management, and control improvements.
• Lead or contribute to operational, technology, and regulatory change initiatives, with governance, risk assessment, and planning.
• Prepare management information, KPI reporting, governance materials, and meeting packs; track actions and support timely closure.
• Collaborate with Operational Governance, Risk, Compliance, and other functions to support reviews, audits, and assurance activities.
• Contribute to embedding consistent operational governance standards, policies and ways of working across Wealth Solutions.
• Support initiatives focused on continuous improvement, operational resilience, and positive client outcomes.

What The Day Will Look Like

As an Operations and Governance Manager, you will support operational excellence, governance, and risk management activities across our Wealth Solutions business. You will collaborate closely with operational leaders, governance teams, and colleagues across multiple functions to help drive effective business outcomes, operational resilience, and continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Partnering with Wealth Solutions leadership teams to support delivery of business objectives and help identify opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Supporting operational governance and activities related to managing risks, including business continuity, disaster recovery, supplier oversight, incident management, and control improvements.
• Leading or contributing to operational, technology, and regulatory change initiatives, ensuring effective governance, risk assessment, stakeholder engagement, and implementation planning.
• Preparing management information, KPI reporting, governance materials, and meeting packs to provide insights into operational performance and business priorities; track agreed actions and support timely closure
• Working closely with colleagues across Operational Governance, Risk, Compliance, and other business functions to support reviews, audits, assurance activities, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the development and embedding of consistent operational governance standards, policies and ways of working across the Wealth Solutions business.
• Supporting initiatives focused on continuous improvement, operational resilience, and positive client outcomes.

• Knowledge of operational risk management, governance frameworks, controls, business resilience, and incident management.
• Experience supporting or coordinating operational, regulatory, process improvement, or technology-related initiatives.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaborator management, and organizational skills, with the ability to challenge and raise concerns when appropriate, present information clearly and prioritize effectively.
• English proficiency at C1 level (written and spoken).

Preferred

• Experience within Wealth management, pensions, consulting, advisory services or a similar environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
