Job summary

emagine is seeking a Test Manager to coordinate testing across global engagements from our Warsaw hub. You will own test strategy, planning, and execution, ensuring deliverables meet timelines and quality standards.

You will lead cross-regional teams, manage test phases (including UAT), define entry/exit criteria, and drive governance, reporting, and risk management in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of direct experience in test management or test coordination on large-scale programs.
• Client-facing roles including test governance and UAT coordination.
• Strong familiarity with test management and project management tools.
• Ability to balance quality, timelines, risk and resources across multiple engagements.
• Excellent time management and ability to coordinate parallel test phases.
• Empathy and strong listening skills.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Main Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end test coordination for engagements delivered globally, acting as the single point of accountability for test planning, status, and readiness.
• Develop and maintain test strategy and plans aligned with each project's scope, timeline, and delivery methodology.
• Coordinate test activities across regional and global teams, ensuring test phases (e.g., system integration testing, UAT) are scheduled, resourced, and consistently tracked.
• Define and validate entry and exit criteria for each test phase, confirming environment, data, and configuration readiness before testing begins.
• Manage defect triage and resolution tracking, working with technical and delivery teams to prioritize fixes against go-live milestones.
• Conduct risk assessments on testing scope and timeline, escalating factors that could jeopardize a go-live date.
• Set and manage testing-related expectations with stakeholders and internal delivery teams.
• Establish and maintain trusted relationships with teams and stakeholders, particularly around test governance and reporting.
• Organize and lead test governance meetings and status reporting across the portfolio.
• Ensure smooth handover of test evidence and sign-off to teams and stakeholders ahead of go-live.
• Contribute to building repeatable test processes and reusable test collateral across the portfolio.

Key Requirements

• 7+ years of direct experience in test management or test coordination, ideally on a large-scale program with a globally distributed team and a broad set of stakeholders. Experience in software implementation & client onboarding programs.
• Work experience in client-facing roles, including test governance and UAT coordination
• Strong familiarity with test management and project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or equivalent)
• Ability to make sound decisions balancing quality, timeline, risk, and resources across a portfolio of engagements
• Time management, prioritization, and coordination skills suited to managing multiple test phases in parallel
• Empathy and the ability to listen
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and conflict management skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with asset manager or investment management clients.
• Professional leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams across geographies.
• ISTQB or equivalent test management certification, PMI PMP / Prince2.
