Job summary

DCG Poland, a recruitment company, seeks a Test Expert to lead testing strategy and planning across projects. You will design test environments, develop and execute test cases, and document results while coordinating with development and service teams to ensure quality across complex systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT testing, ISTQB advanced or equivalent, and strong English (B2). You will collaborate closely with architects and QA teams to optimize testing processes and deliver

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience.
• ISTQB Advanced certification or equivalent, or 3+ extra years in test management.
• English level: B2.
• Experience with test management tools.
• Experience testing complex systems.

Test Expert

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for testing strategy and planning test activities
• Develops test plan, test cases and designs testing environment
• Implements, executes and debugs application test cases and scripts
• Validate and document completion of testing and Development
• Interprets test results, reports on test progress and issues
• Analyses functional and technical system design for testability
• Contributes to quality assurance in the project
• Documents tests and tracks defects
• Monitors test results, Analyses quality of the system and reports on status and trends
• Cooperates with analysis, architects Software Development and service desk teams

Requirements:

• English level: B2 confirmed by a certificate or be willing to take the exam
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in IT
• Minimum 4 years of project experience relevant to the profile or in a similar position
• ISTQB Advanced certification, an equivalent internationally recognized certification accepted by the Contracting Authority, or at least 3 additional years of test management experience beyond the required minimum experience in a similar position
• Expert in testing including unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, performance and stress testing, acceptance testing and regression testing
• Expert in designing test environments
• Hands on experience in testing complex systems up to the amount of years per profile requested at the "minimum experience at similar position"
• Experience in setting up test management tool for new project
• Experience in providing test documentation
• Experience in leading testing in complex project
• Practical knowledge of testing tools
• Analytical mind, attention to detail and an ability to pick things up quickly
• Presents excellent communication and documentation skills
• Knowledge of processes in Software Development Lifecycle
• Experience with testing using Azure Devops Test Plans
• Hands‑on experience with creating SQL queries
• Hands‑on experience with testing SharePoint based applications
