Job summary

DCG is seeking a Test Expert to drive testing strategy and planning across complex IT projects. You will design test environments, create and execute test plans, and document results and defects.

Collaboration with analysts, architects, and service desks is essential to ensure quality and timely delivery. The role requires strong testing expertise across unit to regression testing, proficiency with test management tools, and hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans and SharePoint-based

Qualifications

• English level: B2 certificate or willingness to take exam.
• Minimum 5 years of IT experience.
• Minimum 4 years of project experience relevant to the profile.
• ISTQB Advanced certification or equivalent or 3+ years of test management beyond minimum.
• Expert in testing types: unit, integration, functional, performance, stress, acceptance, regression.
• Expert in designing test environments.
• Hands-on testing of complex systems with relevant experience.
• Experience setting up test management tools for new projects.
• Experience providing test documentation.
• Experience leading testing in complex projects.
• Practical knowledge of testing tools.
• Analytical mind with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of SDLC processes.
• Experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans.
• SQL query creation experience.
• Experience testing SharePoint-based applications.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for testing strategy and planning test activities

Requirements:

• English level: B2 confirmed by a certificate or be willing to take the exam
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in IT
• Minimum 4 years of project experience relevant to the profile or in a similar position
• ISTQB Advanced certification, an equivalent internationally recognized certification accepted by the Contracting Authority, or at least 3 additional years of test management experience beyond the required minimum experience in a similar position
• Expert in testing including unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, performance and stress testing, acceptance testing and regression testing
• Expert in designing test environments
• Hands on experience in testing complex systems up to the amount of years per profile requested at the "minimum experience at similar position"
• Experience in setting up test management tool for new project
• Experience in providing test documentation
• Experience in leading testing in complex project
• Practical knowledge of testing tools
• Analytical mind, attention to detail and an ability to pick things up quickly
• Presents excellent communication and documentation skills
• Knowledge of processes in Software Development Lifecycle
• Experience with testing using Azure Devops Test Plans
• Hands-on experience with creating SQL queries
• Hands-on experience with testing SharePoint based applications
