Job summary

Alpha Technologies in Wrocław is seeking a Test Engineer to join our QA team focused on CR PB calculations. You will design and execute tests, analyze defects, and collaborate with Dev, QA, and Project teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

The role offers exposure to international projects, on-site work in Poland, and remote trainings from USA specialists. Employment type (Social/Contract) depends on preferences and project needs.

Qualifications

• Extensive QA experience across SDLC
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in SQL queries and databases (SQL/Oracle)
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Familiar with Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and TDD

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases to diagnose issues and bugs.
• Define and communicate QA best practices across teams.
• Maintain and update tests based on feedback and changes.
• Ensure on-time test execution and delivery with onsite and offshore partners.
• Collaborate with Project, Development, and QA teams, providing feedback to improve stability.
• Lead meetings with development to support feedback loops for quality improvements.
• Document test plans, cases, and defect analysis with clear reports.
• Create test approaches and strategies, publish daily/weekly status reports.

Main responsibilities

• Develop the test cases and execute test cases to diagnose issues and bugs, creating test data when required.
• Participate in defining and communicating best practices.
• Maintain and update tests based on continuous feedback.
• Responsibility for ensuring on time test execution and test delivery in collaboration with the onsite and off-shore partners.
• Working closely with Project, Dev and QA team.
• Conduct the meetings with the development team to provide support feedback to enhance application stability.
• Requirement Analysis, Test Case, Test Plan Documentation with Execution and Defect Reporting & Analysis.
• Creating test approach, test strategy and test plans, test cases.
• Publish the Daily, Weekly Status Report.

Key technical skills

• Solid experience of Quality Assurance.
• Deep knowledge of SW Development Lifecycle.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Database knowledge / ability to write queries (SQL / Oracle).
• Great analytical, problem solving and quick decision making skills.
• Willingness to take initiative and responsibility.
