Job summary

DSV Road GmbH in Warsaw seeks a Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions across API, UI, and integration tests within agile teams. Purpose of the job:

The Test Automation Engineer (IT Test Manager) is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing solutions that ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. The role supports efficient software delivery by integrating automated testing into the development lifecycle and promoting continuous quality improvement across projects.

Responsibility/ Tasks:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to determine automation opportunities
  • Execute automated tests and analyze test results
  • Create and maintain test data and testing environments
  • Identify, document, and track software defects
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to resolve issues
  • Integrate automated testing into deployment processes
  • Perform API, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
  • Prepare test reports and communicate testing status to stakeholders
  • Continuously improve automation frameworks, standards, and best practices
  • Support manual testing activities when required
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing and test automation
  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or equivalent
  • Experience with API testing tools and frameworks
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proactive and continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Fluent Business English (written and spoken)
