Job summary

Euroclear is seeking a Lead Engineer to join the Innovation tribe in IT. You will lead design, development and deployment of innovative technical solutions across the market infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams to leverage data and cloud computing.

You will mentor a diverse team, ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements, and drive end-to-end delivery in an agile environment. Hybrid working allowed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a software engineer.
• Hands-on knowledge with .NET technology.
• Minimum of 5 years in a technical leadership role.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud, preferably Azure.
• Good knowledge of CI/CD, IaC and observability.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Excellent understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

The Innovation tribe within IT is the delivery arm of game-changing digital capabilities across business lines and entities. We are looking for a Lead Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative technical solutions within the Euroclear market infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and exploit new technological opportunities, particularly in the areas of data and cloud computing.
• Drive the adoption of emerging technologies and strategic trends to enhance product and service offerings.

Job Requirements

• Excellent understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with a keen ability to identify and mitigate technical risks.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
