Job Purpose Summary
Lead the design and build of Corza Medical's tendering function for Wound Closure direct markets, initially Poland, Italy, and Spain. Own the end-to-end tender process across these markets — from pipeline identification and bid strategy through submission, award, and post-tender analysis. Partner with Country Leaders, BDMs, Marketing, Regulatory, and Finance to ensure Wound Closure competes and wins in the tender environment
Tender Function Design & Build
- Audit the the tendering landscape across Wound Closure direct markets, initially Poland, Italy, and Spain: map active tenders, tender calendars, frameworks, and GPO/hospital group agreements by country
- Identify and document all tendering processes currently managed by the legacy shared-service model; define a transition plan for migration to Wound Closure ownership
- Design and implement end-to-end tendering SOPs — from opportunity identification through award, contract execution, and renewal
Tender Execution & Win Rate Improvement
- Own or co-own submission of priority tenders across Poland, Italy and Spain— particularly high-value, multi-country, or strategically critical bids
- Partner with Country Leaders to develop country-level bid strategies, competitive pricing positions, and differentiated value propositions
- Work cross-functionally with Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and Marketing to ensure clinical evidence and compliance content in bids is accurate, compelling, and current
- Track and analyse win/loss data; use insight to continuously improve submission quality and pricing strategy
- Maintain a forward-looking tender calenda across Poland, Italy, and Spain to ensure no opportunity is missed or under-resourced
In-Country Team Building
- Define the in-country tendering operating model, including team structure, roles, accountabilities, and ways of working with Country Leaders
- Build the business case for, recruit, and onboard country-level Tendering Specialists as the business scales by teh end of Q1 2027
- Lead, coach and develop the tendering team; build strong capability in bid writing, pricing strategy, and stakeholder management
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner closely with the EMEA Sales Leader and Sales leaders to ensure tender strategy is aligned with commercial priorities
- Engage with hospital procurement teams, GPOs, and national framework bodies to develop long-term relationships and early intelligence on upcoming tenders
- Represent Wound Closure in cross-divisional tendering forums; advocate for Wound Closure-specific needs in shared tools, contracts, and processes
- Provide regular reporting to EMEA leadership on tender pipeline, win rates, revenue at risk, and contract performance
What You Will Need
- 7+ years of commercial experience in medical devices, medtech, or healthcare — with meaningful tendering or contracts management exposure
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder tender submissions in a European healthcare environment ideally including Poland, Italy, and/or Spain (-Strong understanding of public procurement regulations, GPO structures, and hospital purchasing models and tendering practices in Poland, Italy, and SpainProven ability to build processes, tools, and templates from scratch in a fast-moving or newly formed team
- Track record of cross-functional influence — working effectively with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Finance, and Legal
- Strong commercial and financial acumen: comfortable with pricing analysis, margin management, and revenue modelling
- Excellent written communication skills — able to write compelling, evidence-based bid content that is clear, accurate, and persuasive
- Fluent in English; additional European language(s) strongly advantageous
Preferred
- Experience in wound closure, surgical, or procedure-based medtech categories
- Prior experience building a tendering function or transitioning a business from shared-service to dedicated tendering capability
- People management or team leadership experience

A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this role is PLN 240,000 - 290,000 annual. This range reflects the expected remuneration for this position at the time of recruitment. The final salary within this range will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and relevant market data.
Further bonus as well as a comprehensive benefits package are offered.
