Job summary
Aristocrat in Poland is seeking a Technical Writer to produce game-related documentation and supporting documents, communicating business and technical information. You will write and maintain Working Papers and Games Rules for premium games, collaborating with product managers and developers to ensure clarity and consistency.
The role requires strong English skills and experience in software documentation, with a preference for those with gaming experience.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in technical writing of software documentation.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science/ Software Engineering or related field - Advantage
- Excellent written and verbal English level.
- Games proven experience - Advantage
Responsibilities
- Write and maintain all generic documentation for Premium games - Working Papers and Games Rules, clearly describing game features and functionality.
- Determine the documentation needs of different end users
- Study product samples and capture information from product managers and developers
- Analyze, coordinate, prioritize, and compile the information into different document types (Working Papers, Games Rules)
- Use games screenshots that increase users’ understanding
- Standardize content across the Studio
- Gather usability feedback from customers
- Revise documents as new updates and issues arise
