Job summary

Techland is seeking a Writer to join the Narrative team in creating exciting, action-driven stories for our games. You will help craft dialogue, world lore and quest documentation to support interactive storytelling.

Collaborate with designers and other departments to develop character descriptions, scenes, and branching dialogue using our C-Engine. Fluency in Polish and English is required, with a passion for gaming and storytelling.

Qualifications

• Experience in writing narratives for video games.
• Proficiency in Polish and English.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Designing narrative documentation, including outlines, character descriptions, and world region overviews.
• Writing dialogues for main storyline, side quests, and background conversations.
• Designing, implementing, and developing dialogues in the C-Engine.
• Preparing and updating quest documentation (pitch, dialogue and scene scripts, quest character descriptions).
• Collaborating with the quest design team and providing creative feedback.
