Job summary

ERGO Technology & Services S.A. in Warsaw seeks an experienced Technical SEO Specialist to lead audits, optimize crawlability, and improve indexation for enterprise websites and portals.

You will work with cross-functional teams to implement structured data, improve Core Web Vitals, and ensure compliance in technical implementations. The role blends hands-on SEO with Agile/Scrum processes, offering remote working options and a dog-friendly Warsaw office.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (C1) is required.
• 4+ years of hands-on technical SEO experience, preferably in financial services or insurance.
• Experience with JavaScript-heavy frameworks (React/Angular/Vue).
• Knowledge of technical SEO tools (Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Botify) and Google Search Console.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High ownership and accountability in projects.
• Awareness of security, compliance and regulatory aspects in technical implementations.

Responsibilities

• Audit enterprise websites and portals for crawlability, indexation, and performance.
• Maintain SEO/GEO standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Monitor technical issues and support remediation efforts.
• Optimize architecture, internal linking, and content for search engines and AI crawlers.
• Evaluate new technologies (e.g., React, Angular) for impact on visibility.
• Implement structured data, optimize sitemaps, navigation, and URLs with cross-functional teams.
• Improve Core Web Vitals and overall page performance with development teams.
• Translate requirements into user stories and support Agile/Scrum backlogs and QA/testing.
• Analyze log files and crawl data to improve crawl budget and indexation.

How you will get the job done

• supporting technical audits of enterprise websites and portals to ensure crawlability, indexation, and performance
• assisting in maintaining SEO/GEO standards, guidelines, and best practices across the organization
• monitoring technical issues, assessing their impact, and supporting remediation efforts
• optimizing website architecture, internal linking, and content for search engines and AI crawlers, including managing robots.txt and meta directives
• evaluating new technologies (e.g., React, Angular) for their impact on search visibility
• implementing structured data and optimizing sitemaps, navigation, and URL structures in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• improving Core Web Vitals and overall page performance with development teams
• supporting agile processes, including translating requirements into user stories, coordinating backlogs, and assisting with QA/testing
• analyzing log files and crawl data to identify opportunities for improving crawl budget and indexation

Skills and experience you will need

• fluency in English (C1)
