Job summary

Flex seeks a Technical Project Manager in Bielsko‑Biała, Poland, to drive new product development from concept to certification. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams across R&D, mechanical, electrical, and quality groups and collaborate with customers and certification bodies to ensure robust, compliant products.

Ideal candidates have a degree in a technical field, 5+ years of project experience, and strong English communication skills for international engagement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years in product development or engineering project environments.
• Proven experience managing technical projects with cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of NPD/NPI processes and requirements management.
• Preferred experience with low-voltage switchgear, busbars, DC power distribution, and data center power infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor, Vault or other CAD/PDM systems.
• Fluent English for international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development projects from concept through certification and approval.
• Define technical requirements, scope, schedules, and milestones.
• Coordinate R&D, mechanical design, electrical engineering, lab, quality and external teams.
• Oversee concepts, solution architecture, and technical documentation.
• Organize prototypes and testing (functional, environmental, certification).
• Collaborate with certification bodies and testing labs for IEC/UL standards.
• Manage technical risks and support engineering decision-making.
• Monitor budgets, timelines, and delivery against objectives.
• Report status, risks, and progress to management and stakeholders.
• Ensure readiness for handover to manufacturing.
• Support continuous improvement of PM processes in R&D.
