Job summary

KK Group in Szczecin seeks a Technical Project Lead to own the design of control panels for wind turbine systems. You will lead electrical development from concept to release and work with mechanical and electrical engineers to deliver robust, compliant solutions.

You will act as the technical link between customer and production, drive project plans, and manage risks to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery in a highly specialized renewable energy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience leading electrical development activities in industrial products/systems.
• Experience with NPD projects.
• Experience designing, verifying, and manufacturing control panels.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Experience as a technical project lead or strong ambition to grow into such a role.
• Proactive, communicative, structured and quality-focused mindset.
• Fluent in spoken and written Polish and English.

Job description

Are you an experienced electrical engineer with an expertise in control systems and a passion for leading complex technical development? We are looking for a Technical Project Lead to take ownership of the process of designing control panels. You will be working with control panels located in the biggest wind turbines in the world.

In this role, you will lead the process of the design activities from concept to release, working closely with skilled engineers across disciplines. You will facilitate a project execution with strong engineering judgment and structured design methodologies to ensure high-quality, robust, and compliant control panel solutions.

This is the key role between our customer and our production; therefore you will be responsible for:

• Lead the electrical design and design of control panels.
• Acting as the key technical link between the customer and our production organization.
• Leading a cross-functional engineering team (mechanical & electrical) to convert specifications and/or designs into prototype version(s).
• Driving engineering decisions based on customer needs and requirements.
• Ensuring product maturation focuses on quality, simplicity, design for manufacturing, design for serviceability, and total cost of ownership (TCO).
• Owning the technical project plan: delegating tasks, following up, and ensuring high-quality execution and documentation.
• Ensuring all technical deliverables are aligned with the selected project model and milestones.
• Identifying, managing, and mitigating technical and project risks proactively.
• Review and interpret customer requirement specifications and ensure design compliance.
• Drive and contribute to D-FMEA activities.
• Coordinating activities across the project team and wider organization to enable strong collaboration across departments, including shop floor/blue-collar colleagues.
• Supporting an efficient handover from prototype to production by aligning engineering, operations, and stakeholders throughout the process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering (or similar). Relevant industry experience can substitute for formal education.
• Proven experience leading electrical development activities in industrial products/systems.
• Proven experience from new product development (NPD) projects.
• Experience with design, verification, and/or manufacturing of control panels (preferably within similar industries with high-quality standards).
• Experience from manufacturing environments is an advantage.
• Experience as a technical project lead or strong motivation and ambition to grow into such a role.
• Proactive, communicative, structured and quality-focused mindset with a supportive, collaborative and problem-solver mindset.
• Fluent in spoken and written Polish and English.
