Job summary

Flex is seeking a Senior R&D Engineer in Bielsko-Biała, Poland, to support the Anord Mardix product portfolio and new DC power distribution solutions for data centers and AI infrastructure. The role involves design, development, and NPD involvement in a cross‑functional environment.

You will create 3D models and 2D drawings, prepare manufacturing docs, and drive improvements for quality, cost, and manufacturability while collaborating across R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Design Engineer, Mechanical Designer, or Product Development Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor, or similar tools such as SolidWorks or Creo.
• Ability to create, interpret, and maintain technical documentation.
• Preferred experience with electrical, power distribution, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
• PDM/PLM systems, DFMEA, DFM/DFA, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Experience working in a project-driven environment and collaborating across multiple functions.
• Fluent English skills, enabling effective communication in an international environment.
• Ability to travel occasionally

• Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Product Development (NPD) projects.

As part of the continued growth of our R&D organization, we are looking for a Senior R&D Engineer to support the development of the Anord Mardix product portfolio, including low‑voltage switchgear for IEC and UL markets, busbar systems, and DC power distribution solutions. In this role, you will contribute to the design of new products, optimization of existing solutions, and development of innovations that support the evolving needs of the global Data Center and AI Infrastructure market.

What a typical day looks like:

• Design and develop new products, components, and electromechanical solutions.
