Job summary

Aon plc is seeking an IT Lead in Poland to guide a team of engineers across Germany and India, while contributing hands-on in solution design, development and code reviews using C#, .NET, SQL, JavaScript and React.

You will set technical direction, mentor engineers, and work closely with Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, Solution Architects and Project Managers, applying AI tools to daily engineering tasks.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of software engineering experience including leadership and mentoring.
• Hands-on with C#, ASP.NET/.NET Core/MVC, SQL, JavaScript and React.
• Experience translating business needs into technical solutions and ownership of complex development from design through delivery.
• Strong experience with APIs, system integrations and database design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across international teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of your team's work, from solution design and implementation through testing and release.
• Interpret product requirements to develop scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
• Contribute hands-on to development using C#, .NET, SQL, JavaScript and React, while leading build and peer evaluations.
• Support APIs, automated testing, CI/CD and software architecture, while managing technical risks and dependencies.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, Solution Architects and Project Managers.
