Aon Corporation in Poland is seeking an IT Lead to blend hands-on development with technical leadership. You will lead engineers across Germany and India, set direction, and deliver scalable solutions for a global platform.

This role requires strong C#, ASP.NET, SQL, JavaScript and React experience, plus mentoring and cross-team collaboration. The position is hybrid with flexible office policy in Poland, and you will influence architecture, testing, and deployment practices.

Formación

• 6-8 years of software engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong hands-on with C#, ASP.NET/.NET Core/MVC, SQL, JavaScript and React.
• Experience translating business or product requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with APIs, system integrations and database design.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end delivery of your team's work, from solution design and implementation through testing and release.
• Interpreting product requirements to develop clear technical solutions, considering dependencies across the wider platform and ensuring solutions are scalable and maintainable.
• Contributing hands-on to development and technical build using C#, .NET, SQL, JavaScript and React, while leading build and peer evaluations.
• Supporting strong engineering practices across APIs, automated testing, CI/CD and software architecture, while managing technical risks and dependencies.
• Leading, mentoring and coaching engineers, fostering their progress and working closely with Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, Solution Architects and Project Managers.
• Using AI tools in day-to-day engineering work, including design, development, code review and documentation, and helping the team use these tools effectively and responsibly.

What the day will look like

As an IT Lead, you will lead a team of engineers working across Germany and India. This is a hands‑on role where you will set technical direction as you also contribute to solution build, development and code reviews.

Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• 6-8 years of software engineering experience, with experience leading, mentoring or coordinating other engineers and a clear progression towards technical leadership.
• Strong hands‑on experience with C#, ASP.NET/.NET Core/MVC, SQL, JavaScript and React, together with a solid understanding of software develop and architecture.
• Experience translating business or product requirements into technical solutions and taking ownership of complex development from design through delivery.
• Strong experience with APIs, system integrations and database design, including querying, schema design and query optimisation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to provide technical direction, mentor engineers and work effectively across international teams.

Experience with Azure, AKS/Kubernetes, Azure DevOps CI/CD, OpenAPI governance, globally distributed engineering teams or building products from scratch would be an advantage.
