Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Technical Lead in data science to steer end-to-end projects from framing with clients to validating modeling approaches and delivering robust solutions. You will mentor a team, review methods, and stay hands-on with Python while guiding platform decisions across Fabric, Foundry, Databricks, and other clouds.

You will translate business problems into scorable data science workstreams, uphold engineering standards, and represent the team to clients.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data science with models shipped to production
• 2+ years leading or mentoring data scientists
• Strong Python skills across data stack
• Experience with at least one cloud/data platform
• Ability to communicate methodology and business impact to varied audiences
• Fluent English and Polish; based in Poland

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction of data science engagements from framing to delivery
• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists; conduct reviews and set standards
• Stay hands-on; prototype approaches and contribute production-grade Python
• Translate client problems into scoped data science workstreams
• Set engineering standards: reproducibility, experiment tracking, testing, documentation
