Job summary

ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S) in Poland seeks a Technical Architect to design secure, scalable, and cost-effective data and software solutions.

You will lead architecture decisions, create patterns, and guide engineering teams through the product lifecycle to ensure quality, future-ready solutions. You will champion cloud-native designs on Microsoft Azure, including Databricks and Data Factory, while aligning with security standards and technology roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and strong communication skills.
• University degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Several years of experience in Software Engineering, Solution or Technical Architecture, with full SDLC knowledge.
• Proven experience designing and governing cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure, including data/integration platforms.
• Strong expertise in Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Python, PySpark, APIs, CI/CD, and modern app architectures.
• Experience defining architecture standards, reviews, and guiding development in large enterprises.
• Solid understanding of security architecture, DevSecOps, scalability, and cloud governance.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture, design, and governance for cloud-based business solutions.
• Define and maintain architecture blueprints, patterns, and integration standards.
• Evaluate business/technical requirements, ensuring alignment with architecture, security, and roadmaps.
• Drive security, performance, scalability, resilience, and operational efficiency improvements.
• Provide architectural leadership to engineering teams and support governance reviews.
• Define integration approaches, API strategies, and data architecture across systems.
• Lead architecture initiatives across Azure, data platforms, Python, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.

About the role

As a Technical Architect, you will be responsible for designing and evolving secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective technical and data solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and technology roadmaps. You will lead technical design decisions, define architecture patterns and best practices, and provide architectural governance and guidance throughout the product lifecycle to ensure high-quality, future-ready solutions.

• evaluating business and technical requirements while ensuring alignment with target architecture, security standards, and technology roadmaps
• driving continuous improvements in security, performance, scalability, resilience, and operational efficiency across solutions
• providing architectural leadership and guidance to engineering teams and supporting architecture reviews and governance processes
• defining integration approaches, API strategies, and data architecture patterns across interconnected systems
• leading architecture initiatives across Azure Cloud, BDAP, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Python, PySpark, Flask, REST APIs, Angular, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native data and integration platforms

Skills and experience you will need

• fluency in English
• university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
• several years of experience in Software Engineering, Solution Architecture, or Technical Architecture, with strong end-to-end knowledge of the software development lifecycle
• proven experience designing and governing cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure, including data and integration platforms
• strong expertise in Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Python, PySpark, API-based integrations, CI/CD pipelines, and modern application architectures
• experience defining architecture standards, conducting architecture reviews, and guiding development teams within complex enterprise environments
• solid understanding of security architecture, DevSecOps principles, scalability, performance optimization, operational resilience, and cloud governance
• strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively bridge business, architecture, and engineering teams
