ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S) is building production-grade software and data platforms for international markets, with offices in Warsaw and Gdansk. You will develop APIs and services exposing data, analytics and AI capabilities, using Python, PySpark, SQL, and cloud-native tools.

The role emphasizes DevOps ownership, containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, and delivering scalable, secure solutions across global teams in an international environment.

Formación

• 5+ years in software/data/platform engineering, preferably cloud-based.
• Proven track delivering production-grade solutions in enterprise settings.
• Strong understanding of software/data engineering and modern cloud practices.
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Knowledge of security, scalability, reliability, performance, and observability.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Develop production-quality software and services, not just prototypes.
• Build and integrate APIs and services exposing data, analytics and AI to applications.
• Use Python, PySpark and SQL for scalable processing.
• Develop solutions on Azure Cloud and Databricks with storage and compute.
• Integrate AI/ML and GenAI using Azure OpenAI and Azure ML.
• Own DevOps and CI/CD pipelines including automated builds, tests, deployments.
• Apply Docker and Kubernetes/AKS for containerization and orchestration.
• Engineer for performance, scalability, reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure data quality, security, governance and compliance.
• Monitor production workloads, troubleshoot incidents, improve stability; collaborate with teams.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, engineering standards, reusable components.

How you will get the job done

• developing production-quality software and services, rather than treating analytics and AI as isolated prototypes
• building and integrating APIs and services (streamlit, react, PowerBI application) that expose data, analytics and AI capabilities to applications and business processes
• using Python and PySpark and SQL to implement scalable processing and analytical workloads
• developing solutions using Azure Cloud and Databricks, including appropriate storage, compute, orchestration and AI services
• integrating AI/ML and GenAI capabilities, including services such as Azure OpenAI and Azure Machine Learning where appropriate
• taking ownership of DevOps and CI/CD, including automated build, test, deployment and configuration of workloads
• applying containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/AKS where appropriate
• engineering solutions for performance, scalability, reliability, security and cost efficiency
• ensuring appropriate data quality, security, governance and regulatory compliance
• monitoring production workloads, troubleshoot incidents and continuously improve operational stabilitycollaborating with business owners, analysts, data scientists, architects, software engineers and platform/DevOps teams
• contributing to architectural decisions, engineering standards, code reviews and reusable components

Skills and experience you will need

• at least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, or platform engineering, ideally in cloud-based environments
• proven track record of delivering production-grade solutions in enterprise settings
• strong understanding of software engineering, data engineering, and modern cloud development practices
• experience translating business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions
• understanding of software quality attributes, including security, scalability, reliability, performance, and observability
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
• ability to work effectively across disciplines, collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, engineers, analysts, and data scientists
• proactive, collaborative, and ownership-driven working style
• strong communication skills and ability to influence technical decisions and engineering standards
