Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Shared Tech QA Analyst to join the Shared Tech QA function in Warsaw. You will test engine systems, tools, workflows, and cross-project features across platforms, collaborating with developers, artists, and QA teams to ensure long-term quality and stability.

You will design scalable test strategies, create automated and manual test suites, analyze results, and drive improvements with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams in a shared services environment.
• Proven experience coordinating QA activities across internal teams and external partners, including planning and risk management.
• 5+ years of experience as a Tech QA Analyst or similar senior QA role, ideally supporting internal tools, pipelines, or shared technologies.
• Hands-on experience contributing to or supporting at least one shipped AA/AAA title, with understanding of production dependencies.
• Deep understanding of testing methodologies: integration, regression, performance, stress, and long-term stability testing.
• Experience validating technologies built on game engines (Unreal, Unity, Godot, REDengine/REDkit).
• Knowledge of content/asset creation pipelines with DCC tools (3ds Max, Maya, Blender).
• Experience testing across PC and major consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo) and platform constraints.
• Ability to design, own, and evolve test strategies for shared technologies used by multiple products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive testing of shared engine systems, tools, pipelines, and cross-project features across teams.
• Develop and optimize advanced, reusable test cases, suites, and plans (manual and automated).
• Collaborate with shared technology developers, tools programmers, technical artists, and downstream teams to resolve issues.
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve robustness and adoption of shared tech.
• Participate in risk assessments, quality strategy planning, and process improvements.
• Create quality reports and dashboards using Power BI/Tableau to highlight cross-project trends.
• Maintain and improve technical documentation, test coverage guidelines, and QA best practices.
