Job summary

Veeam in Warsaw, Poland is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Application Security to structure, coordinate, and drive security initiatives across security and engineering teams. You will translate priorities into clear plans, manage dependencies, identify risks, and report progress to leadership, while applying secure SDLC and vulnerability management practices and exploring AI-powered improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in technical program management, project management, or a similar role.
• Experience driving complex cross-functional initiatives in a technology environment.
• Strong program and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and bring structure to ambiguous problems.
• Working knowledge of software engineering and key Application Security practices, including secure SDLC and vulnerability management.
• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, analysis, automation, or program execution.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive Application Security programs and initiatives across multiple teams.
• Translate priorities into clear plans, milestones, ownership, and measurable outcomes.
• Coordinate work and dependencies between Application Security, Engineering, and other stakeholders.
• Identify risks and blockers and drive them toward resolution.
• Establish and improve program planning, tracking, metrics, and reporting.
• Help clarify responsibilities and improve processes across the Application Security program.
• Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve and automate Application Security processes, including through the effective use of AI.
