Job summary

Paessler GmbH in Kraków is seeking an experienced IT Platform Engineer to lead the DevOps/IT Platform team as hands-on technical authority. You will design, implement, and continuously improve infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and tooling, while mentoring the team with a path to a manager role.

This is a full-time, on-site position. You will work closely with development teams to automate infrastructure, monitor performance, ensure security, and optimize costs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure roles.
• Experience in technical leadership or senior IC capacity.
• Strong Linux server administration and performance tuning.
• Production Kubernetes administration experience.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Proficient in IaC tools and CI/CD design and troubleshooting.
• Scripting skills in Python/Bash/PowerShell; secure integrations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead and hands-on authority for IT Platform.
• Implement infrastructure as code and automation across the stack.
• Architect and improve monitoring, alerting, and IT processes.
• Design and maintain cloud and on‑prem infrastructure for scale and security.
• Build and optimize development, test, and deployment pipelines.
• Monitor performance and drive reliability improvements and MTTR metrics.
• Lead troubleshooting and act as escalation point for complex issues.
