Job summary

Arrive is seeking a full-time Software Engineer to join the Operational Finance team in Łódź. You will drive end-to-end backend development using Java/Kotlin in a microservice setup, collaborate across teams, and help shape technical architecture for global financial operations.

The role involves working with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, dbt, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS and REST, while delivering robust tests and maintaining platform reliability. Occasional travel to support business needs is expected.

Qualifications

• Backend development with Java and Kotlin in a microservice environment.
• Experience with React/JavaScript frontend is a plus.
• Data modeling and data management with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, dbt.
• DevOps practices, IaC and container orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes/AWS.
• Extensive testing: unit, integration, E2E, and BDD approaches.
• Strong REST API design and database migrations (Flyway/Liquibase).

Responsibilities

• Navigate and understand complex backend business logic and enhance solutions.
• Collaborate with Arrive teams to build cohesive, scalable products.
• Drive full development lifecycle from concept to deployment.
• Ensure platform stability with on‑call support and incident response.
• Reduce technical debt and promote engineering excellence using best practices.
