Job summary

Ness Solution in Warsaw seeks a technical leader to head our Systems Engineering team, balancing architectural oversight with people management to scale infrastructure handling billions in transactions.

This UoP role is hybrid, with 2 days in the office (Wola) and 3 days remote. You will drive cloud infrastructure evolution (GCP/AWS), IaC adoption (Terraform/Ansible), containerization, and robust CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with global leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Systems/DevOps Engineering with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong cloud experience (GCP or AWS) and Kubernetes.
• IaC experience with Terraform/Ansible; proven CI/CD pipeline expertise (Jenkins, Harness or similar).
• Familiarity with PCI DSS and security/stability.
• Fluent Polish and English (C1).

UoP

Hybrid - 2 days in the office per week (Wola)

• Lead & Scale: Manage and mentor a high-performing team of Engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous growth.
• Strategic Oversight: Define the roadmap for cloud infrastructure evolution (GCP/AWS) and enterprise-grade CI/CD automation.
• Architectural Leadership: Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), containerization, and microservices patterns.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with global leadership and cross-functional teams to align infrastructure investments with business goals.
• Experienced Leader: 5+ years in Systems/DevOps Engineering with at least 3 years in team leadership or management role.
• Technical Expert: Strong background in Cloud (GCP or AWS), Kubernetes, and IaC (Terraform/Ansible).
• Automation Mindset: Proven track record in building complex CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Harness, or similar).
• Compliance-Aware: Understanding of regulated environments (e.g., PCI DSS) and a focus on security/stability.
• Fluent Communicator: C1 level in both Polish and English.
