Job summary

HeadHR is looking for a DevOps Engineer with 3-4 years of technical experience and 1-2 years in people management. The role involves defining a roadmap for the CI/CD cycle, maintaining internal tooling, and leading a team of engineers. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Python, AWS, and CI/CD tools. Job description

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-4 years of hands-on technical experience working as a DevOps Engineer
• 1-2 years of demonstrated experience in people management
• Significant development experience with the following: Python, Groovy, Bash
• Deep knowledge and experience in cloud infrastructure such as AWS (strongly preferred) , Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with Containers and Orchestrators (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD Tools and IaC languages (e.g Jenkins, Git, Terraform, etc.)
• Experience with building the full application release cycle (CI/CD).
• Experience with being a power user of AI and building AI-based automations.
• Knowledge of operating system administration (Both windows and linux)
• Excellent design and analytical skills
• Creative troubleshooting skills and out-of-the-box thinking
• Experience aligning expectations across multiple stakeholders at multiple levels of the business.
• Strong communication skills, team player
• Open-minded and creative - a problem-solver.
• Fluent in English, good writing skills.

Additional advantages:

• Experience with MCP, AWS Bedrock, Agentic AI, or RAG solutions.
• BA/BS in Computer Science
• Experience in testing methodologies and developing tests (e.g Unit tests, integration tests, system tests)
