Job summary

Britenet is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a strategic financial transformation project in a large corporate setting. The role requires deep FP&A knowledge, budgeting and financial reporting experience, and strong stakeholder communication with C-level partners.

The project combines diagnostics, design, governance, and live budgeting activities across multiple streams and teams. The onboarding involves 3 days in Warsaw, 3 days in Poznań, followed by a fully remote work model.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in complex financial transformation, budgeting, or controlling projects.
• In-depth knowledge of FP&A, budgeting cycles, financial reporting processes, and data granularity structures.
• Analytical and strategic mindset with strong structured data management skills.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive reporting capabilities (C-level / Director level).
• Proficiency in project planning, prioritization, and dependency management under tight deadlines and high organizational complexity.
• Risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making under operational pressure.
• Advanced communication skills both in Polish and English (level C1 or higher).

Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of a 7–8 month strategic financial transformation project, alongside ongoing corporate-wide budget cycle.
• Tracking progress across diagnostics, design and governance workstreams.
• Overseeing continuous tracking of working hours and iteration/re-forecasting loops across Control, BO, Tech and HR.
• Organizing and leading recurring project status meetings with key stakeholders.
• Preparing executive progress reports and presentations for Steering Committee.
• Coordinating and scheduling interviews, workshops, and review sessions with 12+ domain leaders.
• Facilitating gap analysis regarding process ownership and governance mechanisms.
• Identifying bottlenecks and implementing mitigation plans.

Job description

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager (Senior PM) in complex financial transformation, budgeting, or controlling projects within large corporate environments.
• In-depth knowledge of FP&A, budgeting cycles, financial reporting processes, and data granularity structures.
• Analytical and strategic mindset with strong structured data management skills.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive reporting capabilities (C-level / Director level).
• Proficiency in project planning, prioritization, and dependency management under tight deadlines and high organizational complexity.
• Risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making under operational pressure.
• Advanced communication skills both in Polish and English ( level C1 or higher)

The onboarding process requires in-person presence for approximately 3 days in Warsaw during the first week and 3 days in Poznań during the following week, after which the role and all team meetings transition to a 100% remote working model.

Main responsibilities

• End-to-end management of a 7–8 month strategic financial transformation project, executed in parallel with the ongoing corporate-wide budget cycle, with possible extension subject to further implementation phases with the Finance Tech team.
• Tracking progress across all workstreams involving diagnostics, design, and governance.
• Overseeing continuous tracking of working hours and iteration/re-forecasting loops across Control, Budget Owners (BO), Tech, and HR to establish a baseline for the transformation.
• Organizing and leading recurring project status meetings with key stakeholders.
• Preparing executive progress reports and presentations for the Steering Committee.
• Coordinating and scheduling interviews, workshops, and review sessions involving over 12 domain leaders and their representatives.
• Facilitating gap analysis regarding process ownership and governance mechanisms (e.g., freeze period rules, Global Process Owner model, target granularity).
• Proactively identifying potential bottlenecks (e.g., team fatigue during live budgeting, resistance to report decommissioning, PAW system friction for business owners) and implementing mitigation plans.
